Students should arrive on the Sunday at the beginning of their chosen course and depart on the following Saturday.
Note on accommodation
Each course will have a maximum of five students.
Accommodation will be in our students' house, in one double and three single rooms.
COURSE FEES
The all-inclusive fee for this course is £1360.
A 25% deposit of £340 will be payable and the balance of £1020 at the beginning of the course. If you cancel your booking, we shall refund your deposit only if we manage to fill the cancelled place.
There are no hidden “extras” while the students are at Le Grand Osier. The week’s price includes:
When you have reserved a place by telephone or email, please confirm your booking in writing and send this to us with your deposit of 25% of the fee. In the event of cancellation, your deposit will only be refunded if we subsequently manage to fill the cancelled place.

- all tuition in class,
- all individual tuition,
- the course book,
- all teaching materials,
- all projects and expeditions, including entry fees to exhibitions, concerts and other events,
- full board
- the alcoholic beverages (beer, cider or wine) which accompany lunch and dinner.
- tea, coffee, soft drinks, fresh fruit and biscuits stocked in the students’ house, to which the students may freely help themselves.
- all transfers to and from Saint Malo ferry port and Dol-de-Bretagne railway station.
- a full report on work covered in class and all projects and expeditions (the course journal) as well as an individual report on the progress of each student, sent to parents, the student and the student’s school.

TYPICAL FORMAT OF A ONE-WEEK COURSE:
At the end of the course, a course journal is written and sent to each student, his/her parents, and his/her teachers at school, together with an account on the progress he/she made during the week.
- Sunday: Arrival; teaching sessions arranged according to arrival times. Dinner en famille at Le Grand Osier followed by games and/or songs.
- Monday: Classroom session 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Lunch en famille followed by a project in Dinan. On return, discussion of project followed by another classroom session and/or one-to-one sessions. Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Tuesday: Classroom session 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Lunch en famille followed by a project in Saint Malo. On return, discussion of project followed by another classroom session and/or one-to-one sessions. Dinner at Le Grand Osier followed by games and/or songs.
- Wednesday: As Monday.
- Thursday: Classroom session 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Visit to Dinan market (with project). Lunch at Le Grand Osier, followed by classroom session 2.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. Break, then another classroom session and/or one-to-one sessions. Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Friday: As Monday. Dinner at Le Grand Osier followed by an end-of-course entertainment.
- Saturday: Departures. Teaching sessions arranged according to departure times.
At the end of the course, a course journal is written and sent to each student, his/her parents, and his/her teachers at school, together with an account on the progress he/she made during the week.
